Supporting Information

Uptake of immunisation has been a problem in Lewisham for some time. Uptake of vaccines has been below target, and as a result, significant numbers of children in Lewisham are not protected against potentially serious infections. Due to the low uptake of MMR vaccine, there was an outbreak of measles in Lewisham in 2008 with a total of 275 confirmed or suspected cases. Action over recent years has resulted in considerable improvement in uptake but significant challenges remain.
